Abby | Richmond Hill High School Senior Photographer

I first officially met the Ott family back in the fall of 2019 when Mark was running for Richmond Hill’s City Council and needed an updated headshot for his campaign. I was incredibly excited when they asked me to photograph their daughter, Abby, for her senior year portraits.

And just a fair warning, this post is going to be image heavy because not only does Abby have a wonderful sense of style and self, but she is incredibly lovely … inside and out. It was difficult to narrow down what to show! ๐Ÿ˜›

Abby is a soon-to-be 2020 graduate of Richmond Hill High School. Her faith is incredibly important and Abby’s passion for mission trips has already taken her to Rwanda, twice! Abby will be studying Elementary Education at Mercer University and after college graduation she is considering traveling to Africa to teach. Don’t you just love her heart already?

Having a studio is such a plus for my clients as we are able to utilize both studio and outdoor locations for their sessions. I love being able to provide lots of variety!

If desired, professional hair and makeup artistry is included with all of our high school senior girl sessions. A huge shout out to Shea with Shea Hollister Hair & Makeup Artist for Abby’s gorgeous, flawless look!

After finishing up in the studio we headed down to Forsyth Park and other parts of downtown Savannah, a favorite location for my senior clientele.

A favorite image! I think Abby looks like a movie star here.

Savannah in springtime is intoxicating. Give me all the azaleas …

The middle image of this trio is one that mom and dad picked as their beautiful piece of wall art. That smile!

Abby’s style is effortless and chic. Enjoyed all of her classic and fun wardrobe choices!

The last shot of the night was another session favorite.

Amanda and Mark, thank you for trusting me to capture such an important time in Abby’s life. I thoroughly enjoyed our evening together and hope her portraits bring you years of joy!

Abby, it was such a pleasure meeting you and we here at Team MMP wish you all the best! We know you’ll do amazing things. <3

Baby Makes Six | Richmond Hill Photographer

The Ates family have been cherished clients and friends of mine for a long while. As their favorite Richmond Hill photographer, I have had the pleasure of photographing this family many, many times over the years – family portraits, Santa Experience, school portraits, Halloween sessions, two maternity sessions, and two newborn sessions. WHEW! It’s no secret that here at MMP we love watching and documenting our families’ growth.

Sweet Baby J. had the distinct pleasure of being my first session for 2020 … such a handsome, squishy love!

And Baby J. makes four kiddos! Such proud siblings, they each begged me for a turn to hold their baby brother.

This profile shot is a favorite among our clients. Which do you prefer, color or black and white?

Beautiful family of six.

Just the boys (of course). Mom and Miss E. are completely overruled, lol.

Doesn’t Leslie look absolutely amazing? Many of you will recognize her as she is the creative force behind Ates’ Bakes & Cakes. Leslie designs and makes all of our incredible smash cakes for our Birthday Bash Sessions. I know many of our clients have gone on to purchase full sized cakes from her … they are that good!

What is it about dad and baby images? They are always incredibly precious. With 3 others under his belt, Justin’s a natural. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Love me some chunky babies and Baby J. definitely delivered on the chunk!

Our curated prop closet is full of everything you need for your baby’s session including wraps, hats, bonnets, headbands, wooden props, boxes, baskets, etc. You don’t need to bring a thing!

It’s fun pulling out the macro lens to capture tiny baby features. Anyone else absolutely adore baby toes?

Leslie and Justin, it’s hard to know what to say without getting all mushy, but THANK YOU for so many years of trust, it appreciated more than you know. I always thoroughly enjoy photographing your sweet family and capturing memories you will cherish for a lifetime.

Baby O. | Richmond Hill Newborn Photographer

I first met this adorably sweet family in November of last year, when they attended our annual Santa Experience. With only Miss A. in tow, mom Christina was due with her second baby in late February. But even then, Christina had expressed interest in hiring us to be her newborn photographer.

(As you can see, Miss A. wasn’t totally convinced of Santa’s awesomeness like we were) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Arriving a bit ahead of his scheduled due date, handsome Baby O. came to the studio for his newborn session on Valentine’s Day. Of course we had to do a little nod to the holiday dedicated to love.

This little wooden bed is a favorite in the studio and among parents as well. It is fun to use props such as this during a baby’s Grow With Me Plan, too. We can incorporate them during each milestone session, really showing how much your baby is growing!

We have a fully stocked prop closet that we are constantly adding to. Available props include beds, boxes, bowls, baskets, wraps, hats, headbands, and more. It’s a mom (and photographer’s) dream! ๐Ÿ™‚

Posing with his angelic big sister, Miss A., 2 years old.

Sibling images are incredibly beloved by parents and yet can be seriously hard to capture, especially with younger children. If you ever stuck your head in during this part of a session, you’d see us singing, dancing, bribing, snuggling, reassuring, tickling, and sometimes downright begging, lol. Patience is most definitely a virtue with these precious little ones.

Love me some “old man” hairdos and chunky cheeks. Baby O. didn’t disappoint.

The adorable face of Baby O. Gosh, it’s such a thrill to catch eye contact and smiles … this sweet little guy gave me both!

Nietzke Family, thank you again for trusting me to capture these timeless memories for your family. Santa and I look forward to seeing you all again this holiday season.

Ryan |Richmond Hill Maternity Photographer

Sweet Ryan came to see us in late December 2019, right before Christmas. Thoughtful and kind, Ryan had a natural tenderness and innocence in front of the camera. Can you believe, at the time of her session, that she was due with her second baby boy only a month later? She was definitely all baby belly! We were so happy Ryan chose MMP to be her maternity photographer.

This teal dress, borrowed from the studio wardrobe, looked amazing on her petite frame.

Hubby was away in Korea, so Ryan brought her adorably handsome son to the session with her. Mr. K. was so incredibly happy to be a big brother and it showed through all the images.

Ryan is such a classic beauty, isn’t she?
This delicate lace gown in black was also borrowed from our curated studio wardrobe. We have roughly 30 different options for our moms to choose from in a variety of colors and sizes, including tops, dresses, and gowns.

What you don’t see happening off camera is Monica tossing Ryan’s train about 10 different times to get just the right shot. The end result is usually a client favorite, and it always has us laughing due to all the tossing, resetting, and trying again. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hair and makeup provided by the incredible Jo Nettles Artistry. This is a service we provide for all of our mothers, both for maternity and newborn sessions. Such a wonderful feeling to just be pampered!

Ryan, thank you for trusting me to capture such a momentous occasion in your life. Motherhood looks beautiful on you.

Meador Family | Richmond Hill, GA Family Photographer

Susan Meador’s initial inquiry to our studio for a family photographer made me smile and laugh. When asked how she’d heard about us, Susan responded, “Your children.” Turns out her son, Zach, and my oldest are in the same grade and have been in classes together, so many thanks to Max for promoting your mama! ๐Ÿ™‚

One of the wonderful aspects about having a physical studio space is that we were able to accommodate Susan’s request for not only outdoor photographs, but a few classic studio shots as well.

Susan did a fantastic job coordinating their outfits. I loved the timeless color scheme of black and gray with touch a touch of blue.

Such a sweet image of husband and wife! Susan had this one blown up as a canvas for their master bedroom. We always make sure to capture a few images of mom and dad together. Oftentimes the last professional picture most couples have taken was on their wedding day!

Zach was in 5th grade with my oldest son, Max. They’re in band together now at the middle school and Zach plays percussion. He’s such a handsome guy and one of the sweetest, too. I remember commenting to his mom about how polite and well behaved he was.

We are blessed to have a lovely wooded backyard area at the studio. I’ve often dreamed as to what else we could include or build … gazebo, garden area … ideas are endless!

My favorite family shot of the Meadors. They agreed and ordered a 16×24 fine art print in one of our most popular wooden frames to hang in their home. The “hug” shot usually ends up being a treasured image for our families.

Thank you for trusting MMP to capture your family portraits this year, Meador family! I look forward to working with you again in the future.
