Each month we’d like to introduce you to one of the many products we offer within our boutique Richmond Hill, GA studio. First up are our lovely photographic prints which include familiar 5×7 and 8×10 sizes.
Available in sizes ranging from 2.5×3.5″ all the way up to 30×45″, our photographic prints are printed on professional-grade, light-sensitive Kodak Endura professional lustre paper, topped with a beautiful linen texture, and mounted on 3 mm black styrene.
Lustre paper is semi-gloss and provides vibrant colors, sharp details, and excellent skin tones. The surface appears and feels smooth with a soft texture that helps reduce fingerprint marks.
Black styrene is an extremely popular mounting substrate and is not susceptible to warping, helping to guarantee the longevity of your print. Since styrene provides a sturdy backing, you may present your portrait not only within a frame, but also transform it into an artful tabletop display by placing on a wood display stand or metal easel.
*Photographer’s Tip: If adding to a frame topped with glass or acrylic, ALWAYS add a mat. Failure to do so will allow your print to stick to the clear surface, permanently damaging your image.
Our larger-sized photographic prints are ordered with a lustre coating which provides additional protection from fingerprints and slight scratches, perfect for those families who would like to frame their print without a mat or glass/acrylic.
Your photographic print is printed by a professional printer … these are real photographs, NOT inkjet prints. The archival life of a photographic print ordered through us is over 100 years in typical home display (not in direct sunlight or over/under an air vent), over 200 years in dark storage, and 1-5 years for heavy commercial display.
